Beverley Knight at Warwick Arts Centre

Beverley Knight continues to celebrate her 25 years in the music industry with a special appearance at Coventry's Warwick Arts Centre on Friday 31 January 2020.

Her only scheduled West Midlands gig, the band show ties in with her latest album, BK25. The album brings to life, with a live orchestra, all of Beverley’s hits including the Top 10 smash Shoulda Woulda Could, Keep This Fire Burning, Come As You Are, Made It Back, and her debut single, from 1994, Flavour of The Old School, as well as three new studio tracks including the single Now or Never.

Recorded at the Royal Festival Hall with The Leo Green Orchestra, BK25 hears Beverley’s powerhouse vocals take full flight on a musical journey like no other. This album captures the very essence of what the public loves about Beverley – her energy and consistency as a formidable live performer.

BK25 also includes a nod to Beverley’s best-known theatre performances Memory (Cats) and I’m Every Woman (The Bodyguard). Her foray into musical theatre has also earned her several accolades, including an Olivier Award nomination (for Memphis).

For quarter of a century, Beverley has confidently carved a solid career in music, highlighted by gold and platinum-selling albums, 14 Top 40 hits, sold-out tours, 3 MOBO Awards, and several Brit Award and Mercury Music Prize nominations. Her long-term upward trajectory puts her in a unique position amongst her UK peers in the genre.

Beverley’s strong reputation as a bona fide soul vocalist has earnt her admiration and respect from some of the biggest names in the industry including #Prince, #DavidBowie, #StevieWonder, #QuincyJones, #ChakaKhan, #AndreaBocelli, Tom Jones, Ronnie Woodand more.
